1.

Mythic Mode Abilities

Helya will perform all the same abilities in the Mythic versionof the encounter, with a few notable augmentations to existingabilities and some unique new additions.

1.1.

Phase One

Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (1) Orb of Corruptions still spawn periodically and fixate players. On Mythic difficulty, they will also be linked together byHelya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (2) Corrupted Slicers, which will deal lethal damage to anyone hitby their beams.

Tentacles still periodically emerge and cast Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (3) Tentacle Strike. On Mythic difficulty Helya will always spawn 2 tentacles; one in the front ofthe room and one in the back.

The Grimelord's Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (4) Fetid Rot has an additionalstack on Mythic difficulty, and will now attempt to spread to nearby alliesevery tick rather than when it expires.

The Night Watch Mariner's Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (5) Give No Quarter willspawn 3 white circles instead of 1 on Mythic difficulty.

On Mythic difficulty Helya will periodically spawn an additional add forthe raid to deal with; the Helarjar Mistcaller. She willimmediately start casting Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (6) Mist Infusion which takes 7 secondsto complete and will empower Helya to cast Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (7) Fury of the Maw morefrequently. It will also cause a Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (8) Bleak Eruption upon completion, which deals moderate Frost damage to the entire raid.

1.3.

Phase Three

Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (9) Orb of Corrosions still spawn periodically and fixate players. On Mythic difficulty, they will also be linked together byHelya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (10) Corrupted Slicers, which will deal lethal damage to anyone hitby their beams.

Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (11) Corrupted Breath will continue as normal in this phase, however, the Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (12) Corrupted Axions that spawn and must be soaked will now causethe players to be Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (13) Corrupted if the healing absorb is not removedwithin 10 seconds. Mind controlled players will cast Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (14) Mist Infusionand Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (15) Bleak Eruption just like the Helarjar Mistcallers. The charm breaks if the Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (16) Corrupted players are brought below 25%health.

The Night Watch Mariner's Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (17) Give No Quarter willspawn 3 white circles instead of 1 on Mythic difficulty.

2.

Strategy

The strategy for the Mythic version of Helya functions almost identically, with only a few key differences due to the new Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (18) Corrupted Slicerand Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (19) Corrupted Slicer mechanics in Phase One and Phase Three. Thedamage check for this fight is also quite tight, with the boss going berserkand wiping the raid after 11 minutes. Phase Three also has its mechanics thatmake the phase more difficult to sustain as time goes on; namely,Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (20) Raging Tempest and the breakpoints of skipping additionalNight Watch Mariner spawns.

2.1.

Phase One

The key difference to this phase on Mythic difficulty is theHelya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (21) Orb of Corruptions must now be stacked on top of each other toavoid the Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (22) Corrupted Slicers cutting through the raid. The idealplacement of the orbs is at one of the front corners of the room, while thecurrent boss tank should position in the opposite front corner. Most guildswill put the tank on the front left side of the room while the rest of theplayers will stack for the orb spawns on the front right side of the room. There should also be a slightly offset stackpoint near the orb stack pointfor Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (23) Taint of the Sea debuffs to be dropped, so they do not overlapon the orb stack point. These can be easily cleared en mass with a Priest'sHelya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (24) Mass Dispel.

Pay careful attention to the Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (25) Orb of Corruption timer. Beforeevery cast of Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (26) Orb of Corruption, the ranged/healers and the offtankshould stack on the designated point to bait the orb spawns. All the ranged andhealers will need to immediately move backwards after the spawn or they will beinstantly slain by the orb pulse and Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (27) Corrupted Slicers. The playerstargeted with the orbs should move as a unit so the path of the orbs are predictable. It is generally easiest to have the targeted players run up onto the upper platformbefore jumping back down as the fixate ends, making a loop. Below is an imageto make this easier to understand.

Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (28)

Just as on other difficulties, the Bilewater Slimes must be killedquickly to avoid a raid wipe. If you can get all 5 below 20% health it willusually ensure the raid's survival, though it is safest to kill them if possible.

2.2.

Phase Two

Phase Two should be performed very similarly to the other versions of the fight.Optimizing damage on the Gripping Tentacles is critical, as this isthe main phase where you can speed up your kill time (and thus avoid the tightenrage check). The Helarjar Mistcallers should be killed immediately;ideally, before their first Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (29) Mist Infusion cast ends, though it is nota problem if they get off only one Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (30) Bleak Eruption. TheNight Watch Mariner and Grimelord should be dealt withas normal, with each tank taking one of the adds to one of the side platforms. Allraiders need to take special care with Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (31) Fetid Rot as it will now attemptto spread more prolifically; a careful spread on the platform with the Grimewalkeris key to success.

2.3.

Phase Three

Phase Three returns to the same pattern as the first phase; stack for dispelsand Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (32) Orb of Corrosion spawns to bait them, then correctly kite theorbs. The Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (33) Decay patches will eventually build up so you may needto stagger the stack point reactively so your raiders are not standing in the filth. The Night Watch Mariner should be dealt with as normal; focus enoughdamage into it that it dies before the lantern cast, but be sure to optimize yourboss damage as well.

You should assign soaking of the Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (34) Corrupted Axions in advance sothere is no confusion. Use immunities to help mitigate the damage and healingdebuff whenever possible. Those struck with the debuff need to be healed immediatelyor they will be Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (35) Corrupted and mind controlled by the boss. Cooldownsshould also be prepared for the later waves of Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (36) Fury of the Maw. The raidshould be stacked whenever possible (e.g., when the Mariner is not active to avoidHelya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (37) Give No Quarter, before Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (38) Fury of the Maw, etc.) to improveraid healing in this phase. Helya Mythic Strategy/Tactics (39) Bloodlust should be coordinated to line upwith your raid's damage cooldowns to help push to end the boss as quickly aspossible. You may want to delay it for later in the phase to improve healing asnecessary.
